This is a personal blog about direct payday loan lender companies in the UK.
I've needed to use them, and may need to use them again in future, and so I wanted to share with you, the general public, which payday companies are genuine lenders and which are not. When I was looking around for payday loans it was always difficult to understand if the companies were direct payday lenders or not.
The ones which are not direct lenders are often brokers or intermediary companies that take a cut to pass your application details on to the direct payday lenders. This is fine if they are upfront about what they are going to do with your details.
However, things are not always so clear-cut and your details can, and often are, passed around to several other payday brokers and payday lenders. This does obviously increase your chances of getting a loan but at the same time you sacrifice your personal data. You won't even know who has your details.
And of course, one big downside to this is that you could receive spam emails ad infinitum. These payday brokers will email you promotions til you're blue in the face and it is a pain in the posterior.
